Indoor Networks Design
ICS telecom nG now incorporates Indoor coverage functions for WiFi applications. It integrates new coverage analysis functions in order to perform LAN networks design. The building data can now be manually extracted using ICS telecom nG from a basic floor plan.

COFDM function for Broadcast applications
This function is dedicated to interference calculations and resulting coverage in SFN mode (Single Frequency Network mode): isofrequency network delivering the same programmes on each site. According to the level of interference, it is possible to deduce a coverage probability. The result is to be compared directly to the quality of the signal received and to the number of programmes which can be carried on a same frequency.
New function "report/usable field strength - test points" (Broadcast)
This function calculates the UFS values for each Test point of one ascii file for all activated stations (unwanted) except the selected station (wanted) according to the different methods: Power sum, Bonn, SMM and Chester.
Coverage/Network analysis/Health care
This function is based on the publication 2002-775 (03/05/2002) referring to the 1999/519/CE Recommendation from the European Union Council from the 12th of July 1999 regarding public exposure to electromagnetic field strengths (from 0 Hz to 300 GHz). The result is a map with two levels: 0 = No risk. 255 = Risk for the public.
