ICS map server

ICS map server is a comprehensive workshop for the production of cartographic files from diverse sources such as:

• satellite images,
• aerial photographs,
• paper maps,
• etc.

ICS map server manages cartographic information in various projections and grids. It performs:

• conversion,
• geocoding point to point,
• mosaic generation.

ICS map server performs both manual and automatic extraction of cartographic information, interpolates contour lines in order to produce DTM and allows modification and enhancement of cartographic information.

ICS map server - Project Builder

ICS map server features Project Builder which enables you to gain free access to the copyright free cartographic data servers of ATDI using ICS map server's online project builder. You can now build your own cartographic dataset wherever the Area Of Interest, with a consistent XYZ accuracy, with a step up to 50m.

1. A user-friendly graphic interface enables you to highlight your Area Of Interest, wherever in the world.
2. The user is free to specify the resolution of the dataset to build, as well as the cartesian projection.
3. Confirm the name and the location of the cartographic dataset you are about to create.
4. ICS map server logs on to ATDI's copyright free data server and automatically downloads and processes the requested data.
5. Each processed tile is highlighted with its corresponding map.
6. The DTM and the image extracted from the worldwide cartographic data server are locally available in ICS map server, ready to be processed and loaded in ATDI software range (ICS telecom, HTZ warfare...)
